Sakura and Tulipmania Bring Spring to Gardens by the Bay
Singapore's Gardens by the Bay is running back-to-back seasonal exhibitions that turn the Flower Dome into spring's most photographed indoor room. The Sakura Exhibition — inspired by Japan's Ishikawa Prefecture — runs through April 15 with real cherry blossom trees, immersive cultural exhibits, and vibrant recreations of samurai and geisha districts. It closes just in time for Tulipmania, which opens April 24 and runs through May 17 with charming windmills, stunning tulip displays, and iconic replicas of Dutch masterpieces including The Starry Night.
Both exhibitions are included with standard Flower Dome admission, which makes Gardens by the Bay the single best afternoon on the 2026 Singapore spring calendar for anyone with a camera. The bonus this month: ARTBOX CAMP 2026 returns to Singapore EXPO across two weekends in April with more than 250 independent brands, makers, and creators from Singapore and beyond.
If you're going: Gardens by the Bay is accessible via Bayfront MRT. Book Sakura tickets in advance for weekends — the Flower Dome fills by mid-morning. The Supertree Grove is free and best at sunset.
